Dirty  Electricity Meter and Filters

Greenwave’s EMI meter can be used to measure amount of dirty electricity present in the wiring at a given location in the house. It is also useful to check amount of dirty electricity reduction achieved before and after plugging a DE filter. The meter is capable of measuring frequencies from around 3 KHz up to 10 MHz.

Greenwave’s dirty electricity filters can significantly reduce the level of dirty electricity in the wiring system. DE filters, however, may add some level of magnetic fields. So it is recommended to eliminate or reduce the sources of dirty electricity first before using filters. Number of filters needed depends on the size of the room, nearby appliances, and other factors. Typically, 1-2 filters per bedroom are used. Those who are electrically hypersensitive (EHS) should test a DE filter first to make sure they are comfortable around these filters. The filters have a built-in outlet to plug-in any device as needed.
